Acrobat XI: PDF Production Now Compatible with Microsoft 360 and SharePoint

The newest release of Adobe® Acrobat XI contains both new features and significant upgrades including increased PDF compatibility with Microsoft Office applications, as well as ease-of-use. The Adobe Acrobat XI release includes  Acrobat XI Pro, Acrobat XI Standard, Free Adobe Reader, Adobe Reader Mobile App, EchoSign, FormsCentral, acrobat.com, and Adobe SendNow.

Adobe also incorporated new and improved editing, exporting,  and electronic signing, to make the PDF creation process more user-friendly. Adobe FormsCentral provides a one-stop option for form creation, data collection, and analysis. The workflows incorporated into the new suite support improved review and completion workflows with the Actions functionality.

  • Create new PDF forms from scratch or templates

  • Move PDF or web forms online with FormsCentral
  • Obtain and track signatures on PDFs
  • Protect documents with PDF passwords and permissions
  • Merge multiple files into one central PDF
  • Store files for access from multiple media
  • Touch capability for use on tablets

  • Sign electronically
  • Integrate with SharePoint
  • Save web pages as PDFs
  • Convert Word, Excel, or PowerPoint to PDFs
  • Share files in a PDF portfolio
  • Fully redact information, including metadata
  • Create documents accessible to people with disabilities
  • Validate ISO-compliant PDF documents
  • Convert PDF files to Word and Excel

Adobe Acrobat XI is available as a cloud-based subscription plan, with both month-to-month and annual fee models (and discounts for education and government), as well as an upgrade, or full installation. The suite is offered in both Standard and Pro versions.
