Ashley Full Stop Brown 
hates it when people run her names together. She edits all the things at Edits, Full Stop and creates jewelry for Woodvine Design, in addition to her responsibilities as a full-time Professional Writing and Computer Science student at the University of Memphis. She is currently searching for a summer internship. You want to hire her. When she is not doing homework, polishing documents until they shine, wrapping various objects in wire, or wrangling her adorable toddler, she is likely to be found with a book and a glass of wine on her porch in Memphis, Tennessee.
Julie Grady is the marketing/technical communications specialist at Qsource, a nonprofit healthcare quality improvement and information technology consultancy. Her experience includes creating promotional and informational materials; editing, writing, and designing technical publications, proposals, analytical reports and web content. She has a master’s degree in English from the University of Memphis. She recently edited You Can’ Eat Your Degree, by Tricia Berry and Danielle Forget Shield. A student for life, Grady is always searching for opportunities to expand her knowledge, which has lately included interests in eLearning and usability. WritersUA is a chance to learn more about both areas of technical communication.
After a series of sales and office jobs, Keith Soltys discovered technical writing in 1987 and never looked back. He currently works at the Toronto Stock Exchange. He’s attending and covering WritersUA because of the wide range of topics, top-flight presenters, focus on user communications, and because he’s never been to Memphis. Lauren Hart is currently working as a Technical Writer for a Software Development company in Boston, MA. She previously worked for a university doing technology strategy proposal writing, and in corporate banking writing policies and procedures. The WritersUA event will be the first conference of its kind that she has attended. Since she is new to software UA, she is eager to learn and share ideas with the software UA community.
