Industry-Compliant, Cloud-Based Social Business Process Modeling and Analysis

Software developer Colosa announced release of ProcessMapper, a  ‘Social BPMA’, business process modeling and analysis software  accessible via popular social networks including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. ProcessMapper is a cloud-based, collaborative tool that enables import and expert of process objects while remaining  fully-compliant with industry standards including BPMN 2.0.

Business managers, process designers IT and technical communications professionals who support BPMA modeling efforts can create, maintain, analyse and share process maps, diagrams and other documentation using ProcessMapper’s web-based, drag-and-drop interface. It supports single-entity process diagrams as well as cross-process diagrams displaying  communication and messages and identifying the process participants.

ProcessMapper users can work with the internal validation engine to ensure that any process map they are working on is semantically correct according to the OMG BPMN 2.0 specification. The  tool uses XML to import and export validated process maps for use with major business process management suites, simulation engines, and other analytic tools.

Processes can also be easily captured, documented and shared with other business groups using ProcessMapper can generate process documentation (maps and descriptions) as PDF.  It supports project management efforts via KPI dashboards and analysis tools.
