Syncro Soft SRL announced the immediate release of version 13.2 of its Oxygen XML Editor, featuring a new Syntax Highlight mechanism and several improvements to authoring support. In addition to handling mixed content types, the Syntax Highlight improves both JSON editing support and bidirectional documents rendering and extends the XML-native database support with find/replace capabilities. Technical communications teams also can look for updates to a number of third-party components and its authoring API. Enhanced authoring support includes a new DITA Maps Metrics Report and experimental support for CGM images.
Oxygen XML Editor combines authoring capabilities and XML development. It supports all major document frameworks (DITA, DocBook, TEI and XHTML), as well as all XML Schema languages, XSLT/XQuery Debuggers, WSDL analyzer, XML Databases, XML Diff and Merge, SVN client.
