The Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators (ISTC ), the professional association for technical communications in the United Kingdom, announced that its quarterly journal, Communicator, is now available for purchase as a downloadable PDF.
Previously available only as a printed publication, Communicator is available to ISTC members via the members section of the ISTC website and to non-members via paid subscription. The Winter 2012 issue of Communicator features articles on technical communications topics such as localisation and machine translation, use of video and other interactive user assistance, case studies and coverage of the Technical Communications UK 2011 conference. Communicator also publishes regular columns on ethical dilemmas, international standards, and editing. Further information on subscriptions and membership can be found on the ISTC website.
